Terms of Service

The deal between you and Talkr, in about five minutes of reading.

Who can use Talkr

You must be 18 or older. Talkr connects adults for one-to-one calls and pays creators for their time, so there is no younger tier — not with a parent's permission, not anywhere.

One account per person. Don't share it, sell it, or hand it to someone else to use.

Coins, and what they are

Coins are prepaid credit for calls, messages and gifts inside the app. They are not money, not a currency, and not redeemable for cash.

Calls are billed by the second. If you hang up mid-minute, the unused seconds go back to your balance. Coins do not expire.

Coin prices are set in the app and can change. A change never affects coins you have already bought.

Refunds

Coin purchases are final. Coins are credited to your wallet the moment a payment clears, and we do not refund them — spent or unspent.

If a payment was taken twice, or coins never arrived after a successful charge, that is a fault on our side and we will fix it. Email hello@krapton.com from the address on your account.

Creators

Creators choose their own hours and are paid per minute of connected time. What a minute is worth is set by Talkr and moves with demand, so the app is the only place it is quoted — your earnings and payout schedule are shown there.

Payouts go to the bank details on your creator profile. Creators are independent: they are not employees of Talkr, and nothing here creates an employment relationship.

We may withhold a payout while we investigate a credible report of fraud, coercion, or a breach of the Community Guidelines.

What gets you removed

The Community Guidelines and our Child Safety Standards are part of these terms. Break them and we may limit, suspend or delete your account, and where the law requires it, report what happened.

We also remove accounts used for fraud, for impersonation, for scraping the service, or for anything that puts other people at risk.

What we do not promise

Talkr is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that every call will connect, or that everyone you meet will be pleasant company.

We are not responsible for what other users say or do. Report them and we will act — but the conversation itself is between the two of you.

Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability to you is capped at what you have spent on Talkr in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending it

You can delete your account from Settings at any time. Deleting it forfeits any coins left in your wallet, so spend them first.

We can end your access if you break these terms. If we stop running Talkr altogether we will give you notice beforehand, so there is time to use what you have.

The legal bit

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts hear any dispute. Nothing here removes a right your local consumer law gives you and does not let you sign away.
